UX Audit, UX/UI design - Care-express

All projects were aimed at refreshing the company’s website and making it possible to order a babysitter intuitively. Our role was to re-design a user-friendly website that helps clients with hiring a babysitter and implement two subsystems to extend the scope of services.

Our role

Our role was to re-design a user-friendly website that helps clients with hiring a babysitter and implement two subsystems to extend the scope of services.

Project context

Since 2004, Nanny Express offers a professional private care for children. Unlike a typical agency, it recruits, trains and employs their nannies to ensure the highest quality of services and the most complete child care. That’s the reason why Nanny Express also developed their in-house, modern educational program. A head start for the youngest matters.

Work stages

Methods of work

Ouir aim was to come up with the simplest possible solution that would streamline the process of hiring a nanny – 100% aligned with the custom parental needs. We focused on shortening a user’s journey and brushing up a website design to make it modern, user-centric and responsive.

UX Audit

During UX audit session, we identified the logic errors, user journey friction areas and other possible end-customer convenience pain points. We carried out the post-deployment audits after every stage of work to exclude any project inconsistencies, UX- and deployment-related issues.

Analysis

The analysis carried out during the first cognitive processes with the idea of redesigning the site allowed to determine the number of potential recipients in the space of a day or a week. This made the path of ux building very easy, because we could find possible problems.

User Flow

We created user flow to avoid errors during designing screens. This process helps us while designing a user-friendly steps in the service.

Documentation

We documented every move, even the smallest ones, so that we could eventually reconstruct the entire process. Recording the information in this way helped us to analyze in depth each movement and decision once again to further clarify the processes involved.

Design System

We created user flow to avoid errors during designing screens. This process helps us while designing a user-friendly e-commerce shop. Here is one example.

Visual Design

To harmonize the e-commerce shop we used shadows & depth and changed the font on the whole website. Our goal was to change placement of the section on the side to facilitate the shopping process. Visual design is based on three colors: black, white and orange. Simply color palette gives an opportunity to find a selected product easily and orange elements attract user’s attention by building associations related to the construction companies and are derived from brand colors.

UX Writing

A textual layer of interface had been polished up and simply started to empower the platform. Well-crafted copywriting guides the user through the consecutive stages until they reach their goal. The steps to hire a nanny s and pricing system became clear. Feeling lost on a site? Out of question.

Frontend Development

Our developers were responsible for a whole implementation process. The client needed a thorough business approach and a dexterious cooperation between UX and dev teams. They asked... so we delivered. Now we continue to work on 3 sisterly websites: Senior Express, Pet Express and Social Needs.
