We created a system that enables online ordering of healthy food boxes. It also considers eating styles and makes it possible to prepare a personal diet plan which excludes products that are allergens, intolerable, or simply disliked by a user.
Our role was to create a system that enables online ordering of healthy food boxes. It also considers eating styles and makes it possible to prepare a personal diet plan which excludes products that are allergens, intolerable, or simply disliked by a user.
We used different techniques to boost the user experience. First of all, we conducted a cognitive walkthrough of the competitors’ apps providing food boxes to improve the shopping flow. Secondly, we did a series of workshops with focus groups. Confronted participants’ opinions and found major problems in ordering food boxes from competitors lead us to the ability to improve the application in version 2.0.
After defining a problem our team started to analyze the available possibilities of creating a new system. First of all, we prepared audits for similar functions in the competitions but it didn’t bring us expected results. We decided to choose methods similar to booking days in hotels and after adaptation to our problem it turned out to be a success.
As a result, we prepare a user-friendly application that empowers us to create personalized food boxes along with the full shopping flow.
At the final stage of our work, we tried to understand how users interact with the diet plan creator. After analyzing the Hotjar recordings, we found minor bugs that were eliminated in version 3.0. It increased conversion by 50% and the usage of the diet plan creator raised by 320%!
Following the provided research results and analyses, we created lo-fi mock-ups and then the final visual design of the application.
An intuitive application for napudełkach.pl was designed to simplify ordering healthy food to the customer’s house.
The biggest challenge of the whole project was to adapt the diet plan creator flow to the mobile version to make the user experience smooth and simple. As a result, we created an intuitive application.
