Our role

Our goal was to design a user-friendly website that facilitates doctor’s and patient’s days. During coronavirus pandemic use the services of doctors become more problematic, especially for elderly people. The mission of Zaplacrecepte.pl is to help patients to get in touch with doctors and improve the security of writing a prescription.

Context

During coronavirus pandemic use the services of doctors become more problematic, especially for elderly people. The solution is zapłacreceplte.pl service which makes it easy to get in touch with doctors and helps patients save time and improve the security of writing a prescription. Simplicity is what was meant to be seen through the project. The project had to be readable by everyone, from people who were tech-savvy to completely non-computerized people, therefore the important role in the project was played by intensely communicating colors according with WCAG standards and legible elements. We refreshed the design by giving a modernist but also a readable look.

Work stages


Methods of work

First of all, we made UX Research to better understand the needs and expectations of the target group. The next step was to make a low-fidelity wireframe that leads us to adjust the style to users. During the UX Design stage, we refreshed the design by giving the website a readable look. UX Writing stage improved clarity and usability on the website.

Analysis

Detailed UX research helps us to better understand who the target group is and what are their requirements and expectations. The project had to be readable by everyone, from people who were tech-savvy to completely non-computerized people. UX Research revealed valuable information that was fed into the design process.

User flow

The user flow has been designed to minimize the risk of making a mistake and getting lost. The functionality has also been improved, including the possibility of filling a prescription from the main screen of a logged-in doctor, thanks to which writing the prescription is faster and more convenient.

Target group

The largest group of people that will use services are elderly people who might have problems with using the computer. We create the service as intuitive as possible to help non-computerized people navigate smoothly through the website.

The second group is doctors that need to stay in touch with their patients. During a pandemic is it difficult to make an appointment and write a prescription. The solution is Zaplacrecepte that helps doctors with prescribing medications to their patients.

Lo-fidelity wireframes

We made Lo-fidelity Wireframe to better understand the style and needs in which the company and users want to maintain the website. We draw system flow with UX-based corrections. Knowing needs and priorities helps us meet the user’s expectations and design a user-friendly website.

Visual design

Simplicity is what was meant to be seen through the project. The project had to be readable by everyone, from people who were tech-savvy to completely non-computerized people, therefore the importance was played by intensely communicating colors and legible elements. We created graphic design for all product screens, including regulation, cooperation and contact. Moreover, we refreshed the design by giving a modernist but also a readable look.

UX writing

An important part of this project was UX Writing which improved clarity and usability on the website. By using simple words patients, especially non-computerized people haven’t got problems with navigating intuitively through the website.
