Validation

After the product prototype, it’s an important question: How Do You Know if Your Design is Good? and the answer for it is validation with the use of tests with users is carried out. During every project, a team of designers makes countless decisions. The list includes fonts, user flows, product structure, etc. It’s a difficult thing to figure out whether these design choices were optimal or at least good. This brings us to this question how we know if our design is good? Validation starts with finding the right respondents and then recruiting them for research. Then we go with the trusty old favorite – usability testing. The tests have a written scenario, covering flow for individual personas. This design validation method involves interviewing actual users or potential users, which is the most reliable source of information, and also analyzing the data and turning it into insights. The statistics show that for meaningful to indicate key mistakes and design deficiencies results we should carried out at least five tests. Validation ends with the preparation of the Usability Testing Report describing test results, along with user quotes and recordings from the process itself.
