Working with lawyers
Disputes about digital projects are usually argued on facts that nobody wrote down. The
specification was in an email, the change was agreed on a call, the delivered system does
something subtly different from what was sold — and by the time it matters, the
evidence is scattered.
I work alongside legal counsel on exactly that gap. The lawyers own the legal argument; I
own the technical and experiential record: what the contract and the specification actually
required, what the system actually does, and what the user actually experiences. That
division is deliberate — it keeps the report defensible, because every statement in it
is something I can demonstrate.
