Our story

We started with user experience. Now we protect it.

e-ux reads as e-experience: the whole experience a customer has with an online store.

e-ux.pro began as a UX consultancy for digital products. Working with online stores, we saw that the customer experience is about trust as much as design: consent, data, cookies and compliance shape every checkout.

A banner that interrupts at the wrong moment, a form that asks for a phone number nobody needs, a policy that promises something the tracking does not honour — none of these are visual problems, and all of them cost orders. They sit exactly where user experience, technology and regulation meet.

So the work changed. UX stayed as our perspective — how people actually behave under pressure. UI left the offer — there are studios that do it well, and it is not where we add most value. What we do now is advise e-commerce businesses on privacy, compliance and the full e-experience, and deliver expert reports that combine the user's view with the regulator's.

What that means in practice

We can read a requirement and read an analytics funnel, and we are comfortable being accountable for the connection between them. That is a narrower offer than an agency, and a more useful one.

  • We do not resell platforms or earn vendor commission.
  • We tell clients when a problem is not ours to solve.

Who we are

E-UX.PRO LTD is a UK company (no. 12828926), with a registered office in Poole, England, and teams working across the UK, Spain and Poland. The clients we have delivered for over the years — from Decathlon and Renault to small specialist stores — are the reason we can talk about e-commerce experience with evidence rather than theory.

The principal

Ada Kowalska

Ten years building digital products, most of them in e-commerce, where the experience the customer has and the data you hold turn out to be the same subject.

She works on the layer in between: what the customer sees, what the business is obliged to do, and where those two meet badly — consent people understand, cookies that match what the site really loads, a checkout that does not lose the customer the moment it asks for something personal.

Three views, one decision

We combine the user's view with the regulator's.

Privacy decisions are made in the gap between what a regulation permits, what a business needs, and what a customer will tolerate. Most suppliers only see one of those. Working in that gap is the whole job.

The difference
Against a law firm
We understand how privacy decisions move conversion and basket size.
Against a design agency
We can read the requirement and prove the change with data.
Against a platform vendor
We have nothing to sell you.

Next step

If this sounds like the help you need, let's talk.

If it does not, we will point you somewhere better.
